The post below was sent to me on my Xanga account. Ok I have a Xanga account that does not have any identifying information on it. I admit I have a grudge against Xanga sites. One of my quirks is that I don’t want to create an account with some (My dad taught me if I can’t say anything nice not to say anything at all)blog site just to read their content but I enjoy reading what my friends (and some others for that matter) have to say on Xanga sites. I compromised and created an account with no identifying information. Today I received this reply on my Xanga.
Lots of people get all perturbed by anonymous stalkers on Xanga. Not me. I just think they are a bit cowardly and/or paranoid. I roll my eyes at them and move on. But it is a bit irritating to have anonymous people stalking on Xanga who have their sites locked. I may start blocking people like that just on general principle. Of course, they could always tell me who they are and I would cheerfully unblock them. For that matter, I think I am going to block anonymous stalkers on general principle too. If you are anonymous, and if you stalk here, and if you don’t let me know who you are, or if you never comment, then you will probably find yourself blocked. Here’s a hint: You don’t have to be signed into Xanga to read my site. So if you are blocked you can always log out of your account and still read my blog. So what is my point you ask? First of all, let me assure you, anyone and everyone is free to read my blog. I couldn’t care less. Sure, now and then someone will give me grief over it. No big deal there. I am doing this for several reasons. Some of you have anonymous accounts simply to spy on people. You know who you are. You signed up on Xanga strictly to get around the Xanga block so you can spy. You stink. Second, the whole concept of “I will read all through your blog but will keep my blog and my identity secret from you” also stinks. So I am going to make it a little harder for you to read my blog. Don’t be whining now either. Because I will just laugh at you. Third, if you sign up on Xanga, and won’t even enter one single piece of information on your site, then you don’t deserve to read my site without some extra hassle. Fourth, Xanga is about community. If you have a blank site, refuse to comment on anyone else’s site, etc. you are probably a leach. Or one of those spies I mentioned above. And I hear too many of you who do this moan and groan about how bad Xanga is, and how it’s such a waste of time. Well stay off then. I choose to write on Xanga and your whining only irritates me and makes you look foolish and self righteous. So I am going to make it just a bit harder for you to read my site. Get over it. My dad sent me some very interesting old pictures.
This is a picture of my dad from 1964 or 1965. Somebody called my dad and said he had some pictures from about 40 years ago. My dad looks a lot like my youngest brother Matt.
This is my dad, my aunt Sadie, and likely my cousin Anna. The baby is a bit uncertain and is only an educated guess. My uncles looked in the “Fisher book” and figured my cousin is likely the baby in the picture.

I forum that I sometimes read had a thread on posting screen shots from your computer. I thought some of you might enjoy a screen shot of my computer.
And ……. I don’t nearly always have this many programs running at once.
Aunt Rhoda and others are wanting more pictures and details. instead of emailing those that might be interested, I will just post them here.
You men may skip this post. If it would be anybody else’s baby, I would likely do the same. I use to think all babies look alike. Well since I have my own children, I don’t think that way anymore. I have a hard time remembering how my other children looked. I do remember that Heidi at least had more hair when she was born.
My dad and mom and Johny were out to visit us at the hospital this afternoon. My dad enjoys his photography hobby. Grandpa Stoltzfus only took about 50 pictures in the two hours he was visiting. He used much more constraint than he did with Heidi. When Heidi was born, he must have taken 100 to 150 pictures. I think he took at least 50 pictures in the first 10 minutes. Fortunately he has a digital camera and does not have to pay to develop all of the pictures. Anyway we did find at least 2 pictures that you might enjoy.

I had wanted to take some pictures with Linda and Grace but Grace was not awake enough to give us a good chance.
Maybe I also give a few comments about our hospital stay.
We certainly are very thankful for the service of doctors and hospitals when we need them. The birth of all of our children probably would not have happened without the aid of doctors and hospitals. All that aside, we experienced enough with midwives to really miss some of their workable spirit.
We had our share of frustrations. For starters, we went to the hospital at 5:30 AM in preparation for the scheduled 7:30 operation. My wife was outside the operation room doors all hooked up to tubes ect. They were waiting for the doctors papers before they were allowed to take her into the operation room. They tried to find the doctor and discovered he was still at home in bed.
Well lets just say that there was a few folks that were less than happy. So we had to go back to our room and wait till the next opening in the operation room which was at noon. That was not a good way to start our hospital experience.
Observation #2 Jokes by above doctor have NO humor whatsoever especially to a women that has just laid in bed with misl. tubes for 4 hours because you forgot about said operation.
Observation #3 nurses training does not necessarily impart common sense. Ask my wife for details.
Observation #4, hospitals will not let you go home till they feel like it. Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr
OK enough whining. Linda and the baby plan to come home tomorrow morning (Wednesday)
A note to those who don’t know our experience. We tried midwives with our first two. We ended up in the hospital having to have a C section both times. After the the oldest child, the doctor told us that we should definitely not go with midwife the next time. He was even somewhat home birth friendly . We decided we were willing to take the risk and try at home again. We also ended up in the hospital with our second one. Our dream of home birth had to die.
Despite some of our dreams dieing, my wife and I feel tremendously blessed to have the privilege of having three wonderful, healthy children.
Grace Elaine Stoltzfus was born July 16 at about 1PM.

My sister Lillian has a new blog at www.LillianStoltzfus.com. Her last post had some exciting post about a strange visitor that she had where she worked at the Mennonite information center in Lancaster.
I convinced her to use a Word Press blog. She has a theme that she really likes. I changed some of the CSS code to make the theme more readable.
She likes everything except the post do not have dates or comments. The comments are available if you click on the individual post. Can anyone help me out on a way to change this?
This truck brought a load of log buildings to our lot. The driver claimed it can throw some mud.:)
List price is $93,000 t0 $115,000. Trailer had all kinds of options includeing sideways wheels front extension ect.
Trailer can haul horse barn (without floor) up to 14′ x 48′. I think gross weight is up to 49,000. Our little 1 ton dodge is rated at 26,000 lbs .
Our children have been taking naps in very unique places.
Eric usually takes a nap in our bed so that he does not wake up Heidi.
